About Me

Nice to meet ya! I'm Sidharth, hailing from Kerala, India.

Professional

I always feel a little sheepish calling myself lucky, but that's honestly how I see it. After graduating with a computer science degree, amazing companies like Amazon US, OnePlus, Expedia, Cyanogen/LineageOS, and Jabil decided to take a chance on me.

I've bounced around a bit – framework & apps engineer, SoC design architect, server admin, SysOps, AWS SA Pro, and a stint in front-end... let's just say I like to collect job titles.

Anyway, turns out that corporate comfort zone wasn’t quite my speed – even when that comfort zone was a high-paying gig at Amazon HQ in Washington! So, I figured someone’s got to live on the edge, so why not me? I traded the rainy Pacific Northwest (Oh, I’m a sucker for this weather) for sunny Singapore and launched my own tech firm, focusing on Cloud and IoT. Everything was fine in Singapore, but I found the place extremely hot and humid for my liking, and I didn’t promise anyone that I’d settle in a single place for the rest of my life. So, I took another challenge and moved to Spain. Best/worst idea of my life, still a bit early to tell! But hey, risks are what keep things interesting!

Also, I absolutely love writing about technology! Somehow, I've managed to turn my tech obsession into a network of blogs that actually generate a decent income on the side. Who knew words could pay the bills? This whole thing started in 2010 with my first blog, and I've been enjoying the learning journey and growing this network ever since.

Personal

Running a tech firm is an adventure in itself, but it’s not my only passion. I'm happiest with a camera in hand, soaking in a new place and trying to find the perfect angle.

Okay, I might also have a thing for amazing fragrances and the kind of headphones that make the music come alive – let's just say they're definitely my hobbies.

When I need a different kind of adrenaline, you'll find me either behind the steering wheel (or handlebars) on a winding road i.r.l, or on a virtual racetrack with my heart pounding as I try to shave seconds off my lap time.

I'm incredibly grateful to have visited almost 40 countries so far, and I'm always itching for the next journey. If you're someone who craves new experiences and loves meeting interesting people, we're probably kindred spirits.

Life has been incredibly kind, and those experiences have made me who I am. But I know there's so much more to learn and do, and I'm always looking for that next horizon to chase.
